Make a Financial Donation
This fund provides support for the weekly Neighborhood Dinner at the Stone Church Community of Christ done in partnership with hundreds of community volunteers and an average of 50 different churches, highs schools, service clubs, onsite social service agencies, businesses and other organizations. The mission of the Neighborhood is to provide assistance and uplifting support for all residents of Independence in need with a free weekly meal in an environment of warm welcome, loving acceptance and good fellowship. For an average meal cost of $1.60, donors can sponsor weekly, monthly or yearly amounts to support this program based on an average weekly attendance of 200 adults and children

Books and Looks is the lending library of the Neighborhood Dinner. To donate books/magazines contact John or Nancy Kimak at 816-228-3974 or 816-824-4410.
Put your unused clothing, shoes and other items to good use by donating them to the homeless and families at risk. To donate clothes or items contact Doug Friend at email@example.com
Volunteer to be a Chaplain
Join our volunteer ministers from a variety of denominations to provide compassionate listening and care for our guests. Six hours of training are provided. To submit an application contact Jim Schultz at firstname.lastname@example.org
